Long Island City is very safe, clean and has very accessible subways (NW/QR/7/E). Traders joes, OTF and Target are all nearby. However if you want to be where the restaurants and beauty are- you’ll need to live by the water. This area is full of babies and dogs, however if you’re looking for a diverse population again you’ll need to go but the water. There is a lot of construction around Queensborough plaza as well as very concentrated Asian restaurant/shop dominance around queensborough plaza without much diversity (ie. Pizza shops and ice cream places closed and made into bubble tea and sauerkraut fish soup).

One of the safest neighborhoods in New York. Great views over midtown from the river, amazing food, and lots to do.
